Atria is investing approximately EUR 23 million in the production of meat products at its Sköllersta plant in Sweden. The investment includes a new continuous production line as well as expansion and upgrades to the production area in Sköllersta. The investment will replace old production equipment, improve energy efficiency, enhance product quality, and increase the reliability of deliveries.

“Our goal is to renew and expand the production of various types of sausages and to diversify our product range. At the same time, we will significantly improve production energy efficiency and ensure that we meet the needs of customers and consumers well into the future,” says Jarmo Lindholm, Managing Director of Atria Sweden.

Atria Sweden is one of the largest sausage producers in the Nordics, with an annual production exceeding 25 million kilograms. This investment is an important step in ensuring the availability of high-quality meat products for retail and foodservice customers in Sweden.

The investment supports Atria’s TOGETHER 2030 strategy, which aims to grow and optimize core business operations. The Sköllersta investment will improve production capacity, energy efficiency, and competitiveness, and strengthen Atria’s position as a leading Northern European food company—responsibly and profitably.

The investment will begin in December 2025 and is scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2027.
